Production notes to a traditional hand-painted pub sign in production for The Saracen's Head, Little Brington, Northants
Raw, external quality marine ply coated with PVA to seal. Repeated with another three coats with special attention to edges. Hand sanded with P400 wet and dry between each coat after drying.
First coat of white acrylic primer, then lightly sanded with P400. Repeated twice.
Final coat of white acrylic primer.
Lining in the design.
